A visit from Charlene

Charlene came to visit this weekend. It was great to see her again.

For excitement on this visit I took her with me to work out. I’m not sure she was thanking me after doing all those pushups. It was good bonding time.

We also moved plants from our yard to my daughter’s yard. It was hard, dirty work but we might have saved them a little bit of money by not having to buy new plants.

The main reason for Charlene’s visit was to see Mom. Mom was quite talkative this time and really connected with Charlene. You could tell Mom was glad she was there.

The aids told us that this week they added a new bird to the cage, a canary. They said Mom sat there for a very long time and talked to the birds. Maybe she was remembering all the canaries named “Mitchie” we had while we were growing up.
